FAQs
All self paying and insured patients and their guests can park free of charge in our underground car park.
Your visitors are welcome throughout the day, however we encourage all patients to rest between 13:30 and 14:30 and would therefore suggest that visits are planned around this quiet time. Your recovery is of paramount importance and you may find that you are very tired following surgery. With this in mind visitors are encouraged to leave by 9pm.
Even if you are a day case patient we recommend you bring the following:
- Nightwear, dressing gown and slippers.
- If you are staying for a few days, you may also like to bring casual clothing to wear towards the end of your recuperation.
- Personal toiletries (although items such as towels will be provided).
- Books or magazines to read during your stay.
- Any medication you are currently taking in the original labelled containers. (Please pass your medication in its original packaging/bottle to your nurse who will make sure that it is safe for you to carry on taking).
Parking details are provided with your booking. If your time is during a busy period, we will list overflow options close to the hospital.
Some procedures involve an overnight stay. Your surgeon will explain the expected length of stay for your operation.
Light activity is often encouraged, but it depends on your health. Your clinician will advise what is safe for you.
The UK’s best rated weight loss surgery company.
