Andrei Ilczyszyn
Mr Ilczyszyn is a highly experienced Consultant Bariatric and Upper Gastrointestinal (GI) Surgeon, renowned for his expertise in minimally invasive weight loss procedures and upper GI surgery. He qualified from St George’s Hospital Medical School, London (2006), and completed his specialist training on the North East Thames rotation. He further honed his expertise with a two-year fellowship in metabolic bariatric surgery at UCLH’s Centre for Weight Management & Metabolic Surgery.
Mr Ilczyszyn holds an MD(Res) from King’s College London, awarded for his research on oesophageal physiology in reflux and achalasia surgery. As a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS Gen Surg) and a valued member of BOMSS, IFSO, AUGIS, and EAES, he stays at the forefront of surgical innovation.
At Ramsay Winfield Hospital and Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (appointed February 2022), Mr Ilczyszyn offers a comprehensive range of services including:
